JIMI HENDRIX TOMBSTONE RUBBING

"Forever In Our Hearts"

WOW ! ........I couldn't believe it myself when four of these rubbings came to into "Posterville" . One of our fellow citizens went up to Seattle on Halloween of last year and actually waited till midnight to make these..... Unreal as it may seem this story is FOR REAL!! You guessed it,... he is offering them for sale. As I couldn't resist myself, I agreed to offer them to the rest of you all in exchange for one of them for the archives. Well that leaves three left. The paper that they're on measures aprox.18" X 24 inches. The price of one of these rubbings is a mere $150. For most of the true to life hard core Hendrix fans this will probably be a MUST & GOTTA GET! So while they`re here, it's first come first get! They are an email away!

Blue Rose PosterTHE BLUE ROSE Winterland Arena's Swansong (the last show). Featuring the GRATEFUL DEAD, BLUES BROTHERS, and the N.R.P.S. on New Years Eve 1978. And what a party it was! Artist: Mouse and Kelly. This piece is in excellent condition and comes incredibly framed. The piece was created by the Professor for exhibit at the Music Collectors Expo last Oct. '96. It was admired and enjoyed by many. The frame is made up of over one hundred silk roses using blooms as well as buds. It is a fitting memorial frame for the event and suits the poster to perfection. This is a fabulous value for both poster and frame at $600. It has also been signed beautifully in silver by Stanley Mouse!

James Brown at the Maritime Hall poster JAMES BROWN at the San Francisco Maritime Hall, May 16 &17, 1996. This poster was designed and produced by the Professor himself. The graphics were created by Jim Phillips. This poster was a special effort on the part of Jim and I. It was printed on paper stock nearly twice the weight of previous Maritime Hall posters. Only half as many posters were printed making it far more difficult to come by. The show edition was limited to only 400 pieces. Each show edition poster is signed in gold by Jim and the Professor and stamped on reverse to notate it as such. Unsigned posters are available also. The price of this poster is $35 signed or $30 unsigned. The press sheets are only $50. Additionally a 20% discount will be granted for purchases of five or more!

Grand Opening of the Maritime Hall & 30th Birthday of the FAMILY DOG Commemorative Poster Set, October 27, 1995. Family Dog Handbills The New FAMILY DOG Series. If you are a Family Dog poster collector you have certainly struck the mother load! Posterville has on hand a healthy stock of posters, handbills, and tickets from practically every new Family Dog show produced at the Maritime Hall in San Francisco. This includes the benefit shows and rare limited edition posters like the "NO MEANS NO" April '96 poster by Jimbo Phillips (Jim Phillip's son). Uncut press sheets are presently available for selected shows. A complete package containing all the new Family Dog posters, handbills, and tickets may also be purchased. All in all it is probably the most complete stock of new Family Dog pieces available anywhere. The prices of the posters, handbills, tickets, and press sheets vary depending on their rarity. One thing is for sure though, and I hate to coin this phrase, Posterville will not be undersold. The goal is to champion my fellow citizens of Posterville. So let the Professor know how you feel about any values or just what you can afford and I'll be more than happy to negotiate. There is always a sizable discount in price for multiple purchases. In addition, the Maritime Hall Presents posters starting from June '96 on are also available.

Old Family Dog Handbills The Early FAMILY DOG Poster Series. There is far too many posters and handbills available to list at this time but believe me there is a heck of a selection! The Professor had his start as a pup with the DOG in the mid 60's, but that's another story. However one of my true passions in this field was and is, in collecting the early Family Dog posters and handbills. Presently I have a large selection of these which have been piling up over the years. Therefore at this time I openly offer these treasures that can surely fill some holes in your collection. Many are in uncirculated condition (I avoid using the word mint when referring to posters; "mint" is where coins come from). Others, well let's just say that they have been to the dance. Whatever the case these treasures need new homes. All prices are always negotiable. Pictured here is just a sample of some of the early handbills that are presently available for sale or trade.

New Fillmore Series Posters New FILLMORE CORP. Series from 3-4-88 on and BILL GRAHAM PRESENTS Series from 11-23-85 on. Posterville has access to virtually hundreds of different posters from these two different Bill Graham series. There are far too many to list here. If you are trying to locate a particular poster, there is a good chance it is readily available upon request. Please don't hesitate to inquire about it. You might just be surprized at what the Professor can pull out of his hat! Prices are based on what I feel is below the market value based on catalogues of retail poster outlets and mail order services throughout the country or world for that matter! The focus in Posterville is ... to get ...

"POSTERS TO THE PEOPLE!!"

There is quite a stack of the old Fillmore, Winterland, Matrix, Carousel Ballroom, and Straight Theater posters and handbills in the archives of Posterville that anxiously await new homes and collections. Again if I attempted to list them all, I'd be at this keyboard longer than I can imagine. I'm not just referring to the more common posters. Quite a few of the early ones are available including a BG#1 that is in good shape as well as early paper handbills and blank back cards. So check it out. I think some of those holes in your collections can be filled quite reasonably. Please also keep in mind that TRADING is truly one of the best ways to have an exchange with other citizens of Posterville. And more fun too! Contact the Professor for names and addresses of fellow citizens of Posterville. People sharing and helping one another is really where the background of collecting posters originates. Keeping that spirit in mind is what keeps it alive!

The Phoenix Dance
. The original artwork for this piece is also available.
