OUR NEW DOMAIN NAME AND EMAIL ADDRESS! Finally, Posterville has a "new" & easy to remember website location. It is: www.ProfessorPoster.com Our new email address is: theProf@ProfessorPoster.com . I'm sure that will make it alot easier for everyone all around to remember. Now don't forget to change your bookmark for Posterville to the new cyber location.
Posterville's EVENTS
chapter has grown beyond listing just current things that are happening
around town. Henceforth, the Professor will offer all of his fellow
citizens an inside scoop of what is go'en on , and com'en
down , the different boulevards and backalleys in the vast spaces of
Posterville. This behind the scenes scuttlebutt, comes to the
attention of the Prof. from sources far and wide. If any newsworthy
information should happen to come your way that would be of interest to
other fellow citizens, please share. Quickest way is email
of course! And always remember my friends and poster pals, if you don't
like the news, go out and make some of your own!
Posterville's Website put it's counter on the cover a few years back,
with hopes of achieving a goal of an average of 10 "hits" a day. Well
as time has past, the goal has not only been met, but has far surpassed the "Prof's" wildest dreams. "Posterville" now averages as many as 100 visitors each and every day!
With such overwelming response and encouragement I will continue to do my best to
bring you the best I possibly can, for a quality website that will continue to
inform as well as entertain. I really don't know who to say THANKS too, other
than all of you, MY FELLOW CITIZENS. So, from down deep, I
send my undying gratitude and MANY THANKS.... I tip my hat to you... each and every one of my Poster-Pals! Cheers, from the Professor

The Professor was recently graced with a visit from one of Japan's
leading citizens of "Posterville" ! KOZABURO
"Kobe" YAMAUCHI, and his family.
Although he has made
this journey before, this was the first opportunity he has had to visit
with us. Taking the perolous journey through the catacombing archives.
Time we were able to spend together was all too short, but very
enthusiastic and enjoyable! We wasted little time searching through the
flat files for as much as we could to feed our eyes with. Sharing our
point of view with each other on each piece.
After afew weeks had past, Posterville's Post Master delivered to the
Professor, a package that had just arrived from "KOBE" in
Japan! Carefully opening it , I had to double take what I was looking at.
It was ME!!!
.........In a poster! Well I thought that It would be only fitting to share
these two fantastic pieces with you all. (and that isn't only because I'm
in `em)
Also, and just
as much of a surprise, there was a dust jacket to the Japanese edition of
the book; "The Art of Rock" !! Truely , this is a MUST
for you to take a look at!

I really have to take my hat off to this wonderful man and his fine
family. The effort, kindness and generousity will certainly not be
forgotten in the near future by any of us here in the Villes' limits!!
Many Thanks to you Kobe, WE SALUTE YOU....!
Well my poster pals, the "Summer of Love"
memrobilia auction at Butterfield's on October 4th was very interesting and
educational as well! Needless to say, it looked like the who's who
in Posterville. They came from all over the country to try to obtain some
of the treasures that were offer to the highest bidder. Here are afew
pictures for you all!
All and all, the sale was sucessful in raising quite a bit of funds for
many deserving charitable organizations in the immediate Bay Area. Many
thanks to Eric Christensen for the enormous amount of work it took putting
it all together.

Three of the posters that were done for the GRAND event in Golden Gate Park
San Francisco. Celebrating the 30th anniversary of the "Summer of
Love" .
On the left is the poster by the artist David Singer In the middle,
a beautiful poster by Jim Phillips. And on the right Bob
Masse's classic piece. All of which are available either through
Posterville or the artists themselves. Not to mention the Summer of Love
Site! Needless to say, it doesn't matter where you aquire them,.... just
as long as you enjoy them!
Due to the overwhelming response to the SOL Bonus Poster Package offer,
inventory of all but the Prof/Masse poster have dwindled down to "ZIP"!!
Measures by the Professor have been taken to secure an additional supply of each.
However, because of the added expence of purchaseing them, the cost unfortunatly
must be passed on to you my fellow citizens. Just the same, the new price of
$45 will still get you one of each of the three posters, acouple handbills of each,
as well as a program from the day's event! (ten pieces) That's still one heck
of a bargin when you come to think of it!! Supplies are still limited, so if you
are at all interested, email us here in Posterville to earmark one of the
remaining SOL BONUS PACKS with your name! And have a GREAT '98!!

patience, check out a dozen or so more shots that I thought were
paticularly shall I say..... groovy,? Here ya go,...pop this
hot link. Whatcha think?
